Dr Shereen Ch’ng Suyin is a Consultant Rheumatologist and Physician at Selayang Hospital, Malaysia.
She was awarded MBBS from University of Melbourne, Australia. Subsequently she was appointed Clinical Specialist in General Medicine at Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital, Malaysia, and held the post of clinical lecturer of Melaka-Manipal Medical College. In 2010, she undertook an attachment at Royal Perth Hospital, Australia having obtained Malaysian Ministry of Health scholarship and the APLAR 2011 Fellowship. After completing her fellowship training in rheumatology, she returned to Selayang Hospital to assume her current positions. She is currently the Secretary of Malaysian Society of Rheumatology.
Her interests include systemic sclerosis, musculoskeletal ultrasound and young adult patients. She is actively involved with the National Inflammatory Arthritis Registry, and multiple international studies for RA, PsA and SSc. She has published her work in conference proceedings, journals and presented in a wide variety of professional seminars and short courses.
