Rachel Nelligan is a registered clinical physiotherapist and research fellow in the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne. As an early career researcher Rachel has been involved in the design, development and execution of >7 randomised controlled trials researching osteoarthritis, pelvic health and exercise with a particular focus on digital-health and behaviour change. Rachel has >21 peer-reviewed publications and recently received the 2021 Australian Rheumatology Association’s New Investigator Award and the 2021 Australian Clinical Trials Alliance’s Emerging Leader Award for her work in digitally-delivered interventions for people with knee osteoarthritis. She was also a 2021 finalist for the Victorian Government’s Premier’s Awards for Health and Medical Research.
