Assunta Ho finished her training and received the Fellowship of the Hong Kong College of Paediatrician and Hong Kong Academy of Medicine in 2006. She is now the Associated Consultant at the Prince of Wales Hospital and the Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Inspired by Dr Joannie Hui, Dr Ho develops an interest in paediatric rheumatology early in her career. In 2008, she was awarded the HM Lui Fellowship to pursue training at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in the United Kingdom. She is now the vice president of the Hong Kong Society for Paediatric Rheumatology and a member of the APLAR Paediatric Rheumatology Special interest Group. She has been leading several initiatives, including an updated on the local JIA treatment algorithm and the Hong Kong JIA registry.
